For nearly two decades, Inochi Shears has been creating and sharpening some of the industries best hair cutting scissors. So then, why have you never heard of us? We want to share a little bit about our story to help answer that.
Back in the early 2000's, Charles, owner and master shear sharpener, had already been sharpening shears for a number of years in San Diego, CA and earning himself a great reputation under the name 'ProSharp'. It was after sharpening countless shears, that Charles saw an opportunity to create a new line of high quality shears, called 'Inochi', and provide them to the local stylists he had been sharpening shears for. Since that defining moment, Inochi Shears have been used by San Diego stylists, cosmetology schools, and barbers for nearly twenty years.
As we entered 2017 Inochi decided to expand, providing shears to not just the Southern California region, but also make Inochi Shears available to artists all around the world. Since the start of this year, we have been working diligently to have our Online Store feature our collection of Japanese Steel Beauty Shears, while growing our Brand via Social Media. It's a big step forward for us here at Inochi, as we strive to redefine what 'awesome' shears really are and what they should cost.
